Highlighting today one of our favorite brands, No Added Sugar. Offering one of the coolest collabs to date in kids-wear, No Added Sugar has teamed up with Marlon Richards, the son of legendary Rolling Stones guitarist, Keith Richards. The pair has created thought-provoking graphic prints for boyswear Summer 16. Marlin’s perspective and designs are simple, yet profound, “Children’s imagery need not necessarily be easily understood or even childlike but can also be esoteric and thought provoking, if not a bit frightening …oh and absurdist.” Marlon continues, “I hope this collection of designs brings out the innate inquisitiveness and joy of the profound, and of course the very silly and strange world we live in.” Leave it to No Added Sugar, known for their highly specific design aesthetic and quirky, yet classy styling to recruit Marlon, and create of the hippest alliances of all time.
To whet your appetite for Spring/Summer 16, we are delighted to present a new brand: Milk and BiscuitsThe Milk and Biscuits collection is as tempting as its namesake, tickling our palettes with bold and graphic designs mixed with classic pieces. Milk and Biscuits was born of the creative agenda of Kate Smith, and an Anglo-Chinese creative fusion is apparent in each collection. Based on the classics, each collection boasts a contemporary twist, consisting of pieces that are cut for comfort whilst creating a modern and distinctive style.Milk and Biscuits’ Spring/Summer 16 collection is an exemplary exercise in Graphic geometry, with blocks, triangles, and diagonals in cotton and linen mixes. They have also welcomed a guest illustrator, Wang Jun.
Hailing from Shanghai, Wang has created two signature prints that we are obsessing over; the oversized tropical leaf and patterned camo print. Aside from these charming prints, we are pining over the Suspender Culottes, and are considering this a must-have for Spring/Summer 16. So, visit the website for a sampling of these delectable treats…they are sure to delight.
